Meals from the Mt Pleasant Neighbourhood House Covid Emergency Meal Program. Anita has been a collaborator for the meal plan program at the Mt Pleasant Neighbourhood House Kitchen. She has taught all of the volunteer staff how to make home-made yogurt with her own starter.
Anita Devi was born in 1980 in Delhi, India. She is a volunteer and cook at the Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, and a mother of four. She continues to participate in the Family Literacy Outreach Program and cooking for the Covid/Seniors Meal Program at the MtPNH. She is passionate about home made yogurt, and has been teaching the volunteers and staff at the Neighbourhood House how to make their own at home.
